About Me
Originally from New York, I've been a resident of New Jersey for the past few years. I used to teach high school English in the public schools but then I moved on to magazine editing in Manhattan for a short time. I have taught as an adjunct professor at William Paterson University, Union County College and DeVry University. I decided to go back to school to become a librarian after volunteering at my local library and spending a lifetime exploring libraries for fun. As a librarian, I've been able to work with some great folks in the archives/special collections division of the Newark Public Library as well as at Kean University. My career focus is on digital libraries--the information highway lies at the tip of our fingers. The most important aspect of a democratic society is the ability for its members to gain and share information.
Knowledge and access to information are vital components of a free and democratic society...
